How safe is Arbitrum for long term ETH holding?

I would like to withdraw ETH to my hardware wallet, but the withdrawal fee is too high for me. I found that crypto.com has option to withdraw to arbitrum, but how safe it is? What will happen to ETH, if Arbitrum just disappeares?
