Recurring transfers, one time buys? What’s the best way to go about it

Hi guys, I just recently got back into crypto by buying $1000 worth of ETH on Gemini. I bought it at a bit of a dip so it’s doing fairly well right now.

My question is, do people use recurring buys now-a-days? Or is it a better idea to buy when the market is right?
