They got wild for body shaming, threats and basically harassement.

The wave of hate was so huge that it was acknowledged by Vitalik:

Frankly we worry about mass adoption, the environmental consequences of POW, the consequences of POS, the future of money, economic policy and all. But the rest of the world is still the same ball of hatred.

u/vbuterin is a real chad, let's balance things out and show him some fucking appreciation for the great human he is.
