Failed WETH unwrapping, lost WETH?

Hi, I've been searching around for this issue. But, haven't quite understood why a failed transaction of unwrapping WETH loses it completely? I just don't get it. I tried to simply unwrap WETH on opensea, it failed and didn't revert my WETH amount. All gone. Any idea…? Thank you in advance!
