Cryptocurrency News and Public Mining Pools

My friend didn’t do their research, lost 4k to a scam setup.

My friend met a guy through tinder. They talked for over a month. This guy told her to try out crypto, and use this trading service, that he said he and his sister were making enough money a week to live off.

It sounded like another account had started talking to her acting as the sister of the guy from tinder. (She was explaining it to me but I couldn't really understand some parts so im doing my best to explain it.

So anyway they had two people lying to her telling her to try this trading service where you send your USDT to their wallet and they give you back credit to trade with.

Honestly this made no sense to me. The website looks terrible..

My friend hadnt done their research. If they had any sense of clue you wouldn't go near that. The whole site looks so shady.

So she initally put in 250 usdt.

They said she was eligible for a bonus $800 if she deposited 2000 USDT! She saw the offer and thought it was a great deal, since she had been told by these other two people that it was a profitable investment. They also said she would be able to withdraw the bonus after the deposit. SO she deposited the money. When she went to withdraw it they said she had to pay tax, then she paid that. Then they had the cheek to say there was a problem with the deposit (which went through!) and request she pay another 200USDT.

Once I heard about this it really made me feel like crypto shouldn't be touched unless you fully understand how everything works. A lot of noobs are starting since they all hear about how much money people have been making on doge, and shib. They need to be careful because once you trade it away it out of your hands and there's no undo.
