Why gas fees is cheaper in the past days? Any network update or less usage of the network?

For the past days gas fees has been lower than what it used to be in the past, we've seen gas something around 40-60.

I'm just wondering why it is happening, is there any update on the network? Or the reason is because less usage of the mainnet? Could we expect even lower gas fees in the next days?
