Eth 2.0 rebranding

Hi,

I hope you can forgive me for saying this. I'll say this as simple as I will, because my understanding of eth 2.0 is limited. But is the eth 2.0 rebrand a cover up for not being able to deliver on the promises of Eth 2.0? It shouldve been releases last year, I suspect their goals were unachievable, and that they figured to take a PoS approach because they essentjally can't deliver. What do you guys think about the rebrand?
