Current fees

Hey everyone! So basically I was transferring 0,01665ETH from my Crypto.com to Coinbase Coinbase wallet and just paid a ridiculous miner fee of 0.005 ETH

When I try to exchange this ETH to some other coins I get fee estimate of up to 0.05 ETH. Whats going on? Are the fees really so high?
