[UK]Friend wants to pay me in ETH. Coinbase wont let me sell the ETH I have so dont want to send it there. Complete noob tbh. Where can I see it?

Title. I need to sell some ETH but how is the best and most RELIABLE way to do so? I'm so fed up of these apps holding my money. Coin base, Trading212… All scams as far as my experience is concerned. They all advertise 'Sell at the push of a button' but I've never had it be that easy.
