Need to mine RVN only when GPU is not in use

I am running Debian 10 (Buster) for a Plex Media Server box. This server has a 3070 in it now to handle hardware transcoding of streams. The dual 14 core Xeons was doing the duty before, but the 3070 is so much faster at it. This is the primary purpose of this rig. However, a 3070 can do pretty decent at mining RVN. I'd like to run a miner on the box, but I want it to pause/stop mining when the Plex Transcoder is running. How can I go about on scripting something that can accomplish this for me?
