How to reduce the first-time OpenSea registration gas fee?

It seems that the first time an address tries to sell something on OpenSea, there is some fee. I believe this fee correlates with gas price, but am not positive.

If this is the case, is there any way to get around it by, say, using some of the L2 strategies?
