Harmony ONE system back online after downtime!

We’ve all seen the recent posts about ‘Harmony ONE shutting down’ and all the FUD currently being spread about ONE. Well an hour ago shard 0 (the main shard) has gone back online and transactions seem to have caught up.

Some background: Harmony ONE recently experienced several RPC issues because of increased traffic due to the ecosystem popping off. This caused the system to run into problems over the past few weeks which resulted in the network coming to a halt recently.

Thanks to the teams effort, the system is coming back to life right now as the main shard is back online. Now the staking and DeFi projects can be used again.

Though I’ll admit that im a holder of ONE and slightly biased, I do admit that this isn’t a great thing for Harmony ONE. Nevertheless do I still believe in this project and what it has to offer.
