ERC20 Token compliance

Hi guys,

I want to buy Samsung metaverse token but I am confused with the note that says that we shouldn't use ETH wallets from exchanges like Binance or Kraken. Can I use Exodus desktop wallet? It says it is ERC20 token compliant but will I be able to see my tokens there if Exodus does not support the Samsung token yet?
