What happened to the $264 million lost due to the bug in Parity’s wallet back in 2018

New to crypto and was not around in 2018 when this issue arose. Reading up on some stuff and I came across a random mention of this incident. I found it reported on coindesk here

But I have not being able to find how the issue was resolved? Is the money still locked in? The people affected did they get their money back?
