I am fascinated by the Tribalism in the crypto space!

This is not to bash any particular crypto token / project however I must say, I am quite fascinated with all the tribalism in this space lol. I'm come from a traditional finance background and so admittedly I have only been deep in the crypto since Jan 2021 – still considered a newbie.

A lot of the communities have been very inviting and I have made some really great connections on reddit, however I don't quite understand why tribalism is also so big in the communities lol everyday I see posts like "coin [name anything] will be the next ETH killer" or "this project is DEAD because the token hasn't pumped to the moon" – fascinating lol! I think crypto is generally a market expanding industry as opposed to a market stealing one, theres enough room for most of your projects to coexist!

Maybe I'm still new to the space or maybe the majority of people invested in this space seem to focus on short term price action and the fact that they have money on the line, the tribalism is even more pronounced since everyone wants their project to succeed.

That being said – I am all for crypto in the long term and love the communities regardless!
