Unpopular opinion: most cryptos are really securities, not currencies.

You don’t need Turing-completeness for a currency, do you? It’s true that cryptos can be used as currency to transfer money, but in most cases it’s much more than that and the coins represent a part of the project itself, just like a stock represent a part of a company. Also looking at the charts coins move like stocks, not like the fucking dollar / euro / whatever.
So maybe Bitcoin would be more of a currency, but 99% of current cryptos are just securities.
Still fuck the SEC though.
