Can I run a node using Ubuntu LTS or do I need to use ARM?

I am attempting to build a Ravencoin node and eventually program a mining pool on top of it.

It appears nodes are typically run on ARM using a Raspberry Pi. This wouldn’t enough processing power or memory to run the mining pool server.

I would rather use LTS for hardware compatibility (would like to have 32GBs of RAM and at least a 6 core CPU).

Is this possible? Is there an LTS guide for RVN nodes?
