DCA – one year – monthly with top 10 or top 20 coins of coinmarketcap

Hi fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Gonna do a DCA attempt over a time period of a year. My first plan was to just go with a – what seems – lower risk and just literally put 500 dollars/euro/chf (whatever) in to the top 10 coins on coinmarket cap every 2 weeks or monthly a thousand.

As more as i think about i'm gonna do maybe a bit more risky thing like put the money in the coins from number 10 to 20 or go with the top 10 coins and put some playmoney in like the coins in place 95-100.

My question is: did anybody else do this or is there some excel sheet where someone wrote down what happened over a year in a similiar approach? If not what would be the easiest way to do an excel sheet myself with the data's from last years. (Yes i know it is no indicator for the future but it would give me an insight somehow)

What would you be focusing on?
