RVN duplicate real-world asset verification: How does it work?
Apologies if this has been asked before. I e spent quite a while looking for an answer to this question on here and throughout the internet and just can’t nail it down.
Basically, how does RVN actually govern real-world asset verification? I’ve seen countless examples of minting/tokenizing assets for 500 RVN, but so what? If I tokenize a hat collection once then I simply do it once more, what on Ravencoin gives people the security knowing someone didn’t simply tokenize things multiple times or if it truly exists at all?
I understand how ravencoin works within the boundaries of the project, but I can’t seem to understand how it actually proves this asset to the user-base. I mean the best you can do is have someone look at images like KYC but short of someone actually showing up at my house and verifying I indeed have 2 copies of each hat in my collection whats stopping this?
Thank you. I genuinely just want to know about this project and can’t find an answer that makes this right in my head.
