Anyone feel like eli5 the flippening?? Or point me to helpful dd/literature on it?

I’ve only heard it described as eth taking over btc. Only been into crypto maybe 6 months and my first thought was “ why ISN’T eth worth way more than btc” just seemed way more useful and serves more of a purpose.

So basically the title. I’m curious as to if eth is supposed to overtake btc in market cap or if the price of eth is supposed to go higher than btc.
