PoW vs PoS vs CryptoCurrency vs Cash/Fiat thought experiment.

What would happen if United States/Chinese government simply accepts Crypto as future and suddenly allocates all its defense and economic budget/might with help of debt ceiling to

 1. Mining infrastructure. A trillion dollar Mining Rig/Infrastructure Baby 2. Bring some "Freedom and Democracy" or "People's Liberation" to existing Miners/Validators 3. After achieving dominance just manipulate all cryptos to dollar/rembembi.
