Is there a simplistic way to gift ethereum to my 1 year niece?

My niece is turning 1 soon and I would like to gift her a little ethereum to hold on to until she gets older similar to when people buy savings bonds for children then cash them to help pay for college. Her parents are not tech savvy in any way.
