Technical benefits of ETH vs Algorand

I’m not interested in talking about which is going to pump harder. I want to understand if these two chains can both serve different needs in the future, or if despite their technical differences, they largely target the same use cases.

If we already had everything ethereum will have 2 years from now, is there still any reason to use Algorand? Is there a different programming model for each? Do they provide different guarantees to developers? Is there any real reason to keep them both around long term?
