Mining with a Nvidia Gtx 570 – for children – for fun.

I made a different post talking about using intel UHD 640 graphics to mine with…. After second thought, that just seems to dull to show the group of homeschoolers we'll be making the project with.

I'm sort of new to mining, and don't understand how DAG works or the memory size needed to work in a pool…. (Please educate me if you know).

If I wanted to use some GTX 570 cards to mine Ravencoin (want to use linux not windows) is this possible with a pool? (Such as 2 miners etc.) They are 1.26GB of memory. But now that I'm learning about DAG I don't know if that is for solo or pool mining…..

THIS DOES NOT need to make a profit. The power will break even if not cost more. I just want to know if it can be done. I just want to see smiles if we get a few of them running.

This is over a weekend so it's not while we wait.
