Should I invest in ethereum?

I’ve been getting into crypto lately and since the whole nft thing is going on right now i thought it would be a good time to invest because I know the meta verse doesn’t stop here and that it will blow up in the future. I’m not very informed on all of this but I’ve heard if you get a roth IRA account they can’t tax you as much as a normal bank account, so my question is should i open one up and put some money into ETH?
