Leaving my Bank and feeling good about it!
The planet killing, Epstein associating vampire bastards at my Bank recently offered me 0.1% interest on my savings ISA.. For those not in the know, this is the savings account in the UK for a HOUSE!! "£10,000 a year saved out of your £17,000 wage son, and we'll give you a tenner! Don't spend it all on avocado toast now".
. Fuck this? Yeah……fuck this. There's so many reasons I don't want to be associated with most (or even all) banks anymore, but going completely bankless will bring it's problems. If anyone else has done this I'd like to know if you had any major issues with direct debits, automatic payments, or credit score issues? (preferably in the UK or Europe but all advice is appreciated) Or anything else you think I should know about.
I plan to use a combination of Crypto.com pay & Visa Card, Bitpay, PayPal and a Cold Wallet.
Edit: I am self employed but also have a part time job. God the taxes are going to be complicated.
