Dumb Gas Question

I'm attempting a ETH to Polygon conversion on Opensea and the gas it put in by default was ~150,000 but it gives me the option to lower it to 21,000 minimum.

If I do this, is the transaction guaranteed to fail?

Probably a dumb question, but the knowledge is appreciated.
