Safest way to transport validator keys?

Moving across country soon, and I have my validator keys stored on ColdTi plates. I was going to take these on the flight with me, on my person. But then I realized that if my bag is x-rayed, images will be made of the plates and stored by the TSA, which seems very risky to me. Am I being too paranoid? Is there a better way to transport keys while keeping them secret?
