Locking core clock

Question , if I lock core clock on my 3070ti at 1550 should I leave power at 100% in afterburner or still decrease it till where it doesn’t drop hashrate , currently it’s lock core clock 1550 80% power 42mh but at something like 243w if I move the power to 100% on lock core clock will it increase power as well how does this work ?
