7k raven in 1 month pool mining, but 2 blocks found? Should I solo?

Just curious as to if anyone thinks I should be solo mining if I am averaging 2 blocks a month which is the equivalent of a little under 10k raven. Also how do I go about solo mining? Can I use trex miner? I tried previously but I wasn't getting a reported hashrate so I assumed it wasn't working. Advice will be appreciated!
