Who are doing the computation on Arbitrum? And how can I run an Arbitrum node?

I’ve seen people suggesting using Arbitrum all the time.

What I failed to see is who are doing all the computation?

Also I searched for how to run an Arbitrum node but only found articles explaining what a node is.

Lastly, will this “steal” fees from L1?
