Real world usage & competitiveness

After reading multiple threads with this question being asked somewhere in the comments – all I see are upvotes to the question and no real answers. Any guidance offered would be greatly appreciated.

What’s special about this coin compared to the rest?

What I can see so far:

  • The mining profits are high.

  • The coin is designed to favor smaller mining operations longterm using GPUs. Even more-so than Ethereum which has been cracked by specific ASIC miners (and is going POS soon).

  • It has a cool name and logo.

——-

Besides the mining, cool name and logo – what else can it do?

Ethereum has an entire Web 3.0 ecosystem running on it, with massively popular tokens that have real world usage, granted most of these projects will not succeed longterm it at least has the buzz and popularity going for it. Are there any tokens running on Ravencoin’s blockchain in a similar way or is that not how this coin works?

Ravencoin is a fork of Bitcoin with improvements. So is Litecoin and quite a few others. Outside of mining, why would someone use Ravencoin for crypto currency transactions alone compared to the others?

Monero and Zcash are also mineable – these are the go-to coins for shady transactions usually involving drugs… 😂. I’m not sure this is what Ravencoin would actually want to be known for but I at least had to bring it up 😂.

NFT marketplace transactions – Ethereum and Polygon seem to be dominating there. Even SHIBA tokens are probably more popular for NFT marketplaces at this point and it’s a joke coin.

Polkadot, Solana, Cardano, etc. seem to be up and coming competitors to Ethereums Web 3.0 dominance. All proof of stake coins.

I’m not trying to be bearish, I’m trying to find out what potential this coin has to become mainstream besides the present-day mining profits.

Thanks 🙏
