swap fees high?

Hey, I haven’t traded much ( at all… ) for a few years and have an old wallet with 0.05eth in it. I was wanting to swap some of it for a shit coin for a bit of fun but the fees to do this are about 0.03eth using MetaMask/uniswap – yet the gas fees on ethgasstation are around 215 Gwei which is a big discrepancy. Am I just misunderstanding the info on the gas station?
