Dapps need to integrate rollups, not depend on Polygon and Arbitrum.

Am I wrong for thinking this? This is the only way I see ethereum dapps being succesful. Apps like Loopring are doing this.

Depending on sidechains like polygon and Arbitrum seem superfluous and unnecessary. Am I missing something?
