ETH gas fee due to Altair Mainnet Upgrade

Hi question to experts plz, when do you think ETH gas fee might cool down?

I am waiting on to do a transaction but current gas fee seems high for me and my understanding is that its happening due to Altair Mainnet Upgrade.
