Is it a misconception that NFTs === Digital Art
It seems like a lot of the time when NFTs come up in conversation I get one of the following responses:
- NFTs are a scam
- What is the purpose of a NFT if you don't own the physical art piece.
- Oh NFTs thats kind of a cute thing for digital art.
I always try to convince people that "NFTs are not specifically for digital art, digital art is just one common use case. NFTs can be used to represent a chain of ownership for anything".
Am I correct about this? Like in the future NFTs could actually be really useful for anything that needs to represent ownership right? Are there any NFT projects now that show a more utilitarian use case for them than "Digital Art"
