Are we just an echo chamber of circle jerking when we say that “we are still early” ?

I've been following crypto for a long time and Ive been regretting the decision to not buy BTC when friend of mine wanted to buy a few ten € worth of it back in 2010.

I finally got in "for real" about a year ago and I've been hearing a lot of "we're still early" and "it's important that you started". As a dad of two who barely earns min pay I hope so but what if we aren't? What if we are way to late for the massive gains that early adopters were able to enjoy?

I believe that BTC will easily hit 100k but I'm not sure how much higher it can go. Even then it's "only" 2 times of the current investment. Is it still possible to get some really extreme gains?

What do you think? Are we just echo chamber or circlejerk? Or is the future on our side?
