Are people really paying the current fees?

Hey gang,

I'm looking at gas fees required to transfer some ERC-20 tokens or even swapping on Uni-Swap, and it really doesn't make sense (it's been a while since it did make sens).

So are you guys really paying $30 for every transaction you make or is there another way to swap/transfer on ETH mainnet that I am blind too??
