Do DAOs have already access to trusted computation and storage? I mean wouldn’t it be actually really beneficial for the space if some trusted cloud provider were to allow Ethereum based DAOs to host applications?

Think about it, right now there are a few cloud providers that have huge businesses at stake. So even though they are certainly an attack vector certain applications would be totally fine running on these trusted cloud platforms. The governance structure and payments could be 100% on-chain. Even though I'd prefer everything to be completely decentralized, if DAOs would be able to open an account at AWS and could pay them to host applications, we could have a whole new category of apps. It would be how app development should be, an internet company structure that is extremely secure (DAO) and trusted computation to run the actual app. Of course, it would only work reasonably well if several cloud providers were to compete to host the DAOs application.
The simple fact that this is not yet possible is really insane.
Or am I missing something?
