Reminder: Ethereum doesn’t have a team. It has a community.

I've seen a lot of people saying "Ethereum has a great team", and while I appreciate the positivity, I think this really undersells how powerful the Ethereum ecosystem. When I hear that, it sounds to me like "I really like this internet thing, they have a great team".
Yes, the Ethereum Foundation exists, but it mostly employs researchers like Vitalik. The largest contributions to Ethereum all come from independent teams and individuals:
- There are 5 different Eth2 clients, and none of them were built by the EF, they were all built by independent companies.
- There's like 20 different scaling projects, all of them are independent companies
- All Ethereum code is open-source, and there's thousands of individuals who have contributed to Ethereum core infrastructure
- The famous EIP-1559 wasn't written by a researcher or developer: it was written by Eric Connor, the host of the EthHub podcast!
- The real value of Ethereum comes from the applications built on top of Ethereum, which come from thousands of independent companies
The best part: you're all part of the Ethereum community too!
