We Have a PR Problem With Hard Line Political Partisan

The extreme spectrums of the two party are not nearly enough pro crypto, especially pro DeFi. I don't want to make it seem like republicans aren't a threat. The establishment certainly is, but some of the really conservative people are more likely to go along with Patriot act type things that could block our ability to use Defi.

The other side is particularly problematic, there's a fairly large percentage of the far left caucus of the democrat party who are becoming deeply deeply anti crypto. They are attacking DeFi as just another scam, another play on the working class, another way for the rich to get richer, another way to avoid taxes. They want to let Elizabeth Warren railroad the industry, and of course 6050I IRS provision makes DeFi a felony for US users.

These people are uninformed on the dangerousness of surveillance and the paramount importance of digital privacy, the type of underhanded regulation being written by the defense surveillance industry and banking industry to shut defi down and steal it and kyc it and monopolize it to banking incumbents that create directly more rent seeking more extractive harsh financial conditions for the middle class.

I feel, we have no choice but to try to educate these people, and dispel the myths. If you have super lefty friends, now is the time to start educating them about DeFi, because the establishment is trying to turn them against us.
