Cooling my rig

I don’t know if this is the right community to ask but I’m planning to put my rig into a grow tent and vent it out the basement window. My only concern is that my street is very busy during the day and night and I was wondering if there is a way to prevent others from coming in while still allowing me to go out in case of an emergency.
