RVN Physical Asset Use Case Discussion

Hi all,

I wanted to clarify something in the RVN whitepaper in terms of a potential practical use case example. In the "Assets" section the whitepaper states that assets are tokens that can be issued on the RVN blockchain and can be highly customizable based on the creator's needs. Could this be used to represent shares in a real world physical asset as a way to crowdsource invest into a difficult/niche asset? For example (totally arbitrary):

I purchase a PlayStation 5 for $500 (assuming no tax just keeping this very simple), could I issue say 5 $100 "shares" of the PlayStation 5 in RVN backed "RVN-PS5" tokens to people who want to invest in the PS5?

If so – then let's say one month later I sell the PS5 for $600, each "RVN-PS5" investor would make a 20% return on their $100 investment. Would I then be able to easily issue a payout of the RVN-PS5 coin for $120 worth of RVN (less some beforehand agreed to "finder's fee") to each holder of the RVN-PS5 coin?

If I was really an enterprising PS5 salesman I could obviously use the investor's money from the first PS5 to fund the purchase of a second and issue "RVN-PS2.0" and so on and so forth but for this example it's just a single product.

In reality a PS5 isn't the best item to crowdsource as an investment opportunity. I think the practical use case would be with something extremely rare/expensive (say a vintage baseball card, or a piece of rare art). I want to understand if I'm thinking about RVN's ability in the correct way and if this conceptually is something that is supported and welcomed on the RVN blockchain.

Thank you
