Gasnow to end all services October 15

I just seen the notification on their website.

There's a post earlier on /cc saying Gasnow was restricting users from Mainland China Oct 15… Now they're ending the service for everyone.

1. GasNow website

2. GasNow API

3. GasNow extension

Does anyone know why this happened? ..Where else it can happen? I use gasnow every day. I didn't think China was able to do this.
