Sent funds via smart contract – LOST

Hi! Dont worry I'll get it back from the support team of the exchange i sent it to…

But….how do i actually know if I am sending funds via a smart contract?? It was the second time now that I needed a support team to get my funds back.

I just send them to an exchange via my wallet (Coinlist this time) and internally withdrawal works via a smart contract. But I only see that afterwards…

Exchanges do write "dont send funds via SC…" but how can i find that out before i send funds?? Thx!
