Savings with ETH long term?

Hi all,

I was thinking to, instead of putting money aside for my daughter on a bank account for when she's 18 (she's currently 7), put money into an ETH wallet every month.

Bearing in mind, this is a long term commitment… What do you guys think?

So you think ETH has a promising future or would you rather rather stick to a fiat currency based savings account?
