*Response to* Why aren’t the halving and ETH migration priced in?

- There are a couple of things going on here. As we know, We don't know jackshit, We have zero clue to when ETH is actually going POS. Its date has been pushed back with Vitalik even saying '2022' is the more likely date. That's phase 1, as to why it's not priced in.
- RVN halving hasn't happened yet. There is no way to price in 'future' halving because once again no one know's what the price of RVN will be at the time of the halving.
So what happens? Well, when this finally all does take place. The market will find an equilibrium. The effects of this take months.
So ETH is now POS and RVN halved. Only miners who can afford to run/mine will mine RVN. My guess is 90% of you RVN miners right now(fair weather miners) will quit/drop out because the profitability will no longer be there. This will drop the Difficulty/hashrate bringing about Equlibirum between price, difficulty, and the amount of coins miners earn.
A large amount of this is based on electric costs, overhead, and upkeep costs.
Hopefully, most of you here can keep mining through the downturn. Some miners may even have to shut down fully for a couple of months until the tidal wave finally washes through, and then turn back on.
