New Mining Pool

Hi Raveneers, I made a couple of posts a little bit ago about making my own mining pool, and thanks to the absolute lad over at Cryptic Wizardry I was able to set one up successfully. It is here RVN Pool.

I had originally intended this for a school project, but as I tinkered with the code, I found myself enthralled.

I have forked the original codebase of Ravenpool Ninja and began rewriting it. I intend to redesign the web interface with a mobile-first layout and themed with modern material colors. The pool already uses express for web interface, but I would love to redesign it to use React or Angular.

I am hosting this mining pool with a hosting platform with high availability. Should this pool begin to be used, I am hoping to launch multiple servers around the world, and then make the stratum address geo routed.

I am currently the only miner on the pool, so hashrate is quite low. But feel free to point some hashes over this way, to help decentralize some of that mining power!

If you all have any suggestions for improvements, please let me know and I’ll probably add it in the next iteration of the portal.
