What stops a central bank to funnel assets to bail a cryptocurrency exchange?
I know this isn't exactly a Ravencoin question but it ultimately involves RVN as well.
I read this a while ago: https://blog.bitmex.com/i-still-cant-draw-a-line/
When the world finally accepts cryptocurrencies (we know it's going to happen at some point) as a new standard, what will stop central banks and governments to bail failing exchanges? I understand that in TradFi central banks print money, they apply some Quantitative Easing for a few years, or a few other complicated stuff. However, I believe this can also be applied in Crypto markets. Of course, you cannot print 'Bitcoin' or 'Ravencoins' or any currency with the press of a button, however you can move assets, bonds, other reliable fiat currencies, gold or there must be other ways (I am an amateur in economics) to bail the company. I agree that it is not the same but by what I have understood, it seems that Crypto, by default, will not save the global economy from being hostage to banks. Maybe the only thing that will change is the name of the banks that 'govern' the economy… and ourselves.
Any thoughts? Is there something I am missing?
P.S I have not studied economics. I appreciate any idea on the subject.
Thanks in advance.
