Concern over other growing chains?

Honestly, does anyone else have concern over the growth of other competitive, fast block chains? Do you think the general public cares about the trifecta as much as I do? I am trying to be a rationalist here. The growth of cheaper tx on chain from others is challenging my idea of ETH long-term.
